GIS Outlet Bushing

In the electric power systems, the lead-out bushing for GIS transformer substation consists of SF6 gas-type porcelain bushing in the outdoor part. The internal gas pressure will drop due to the air leakage in operation resulting in the insulation failure, and finally explosion of the porcelain bushing.

In recent years, an increasing amount of porcelain bushing have been replaced by composite hollow insulators year by year though by which the explosion hazard, the air leakage problem still exist, leaving a great deal of monitoring and maintenance work Besides,since the performance of SF6 gas is subject to the pressure in the GIS lead-out bushing air chamber, the phenomenon of gas concentration (liquefaction below -40℃) will result in the reduction of insulating property in the case of low ambient temperature.

Therefore, such kind of the bushing is not applicable in low ambient temperature. Fiberglass reinforced dry-type GIS lead-out bushing adopts the capacitive voltage-sharing structure, for which the fiberglass is strengthened by immersing in epoxy resin and wrapped with soild insulation. The outdoor part of the bushing is free from SF6 gas, without the risk of air leakage, so there is no need for the inspection and transform substation. Meanwhile, the gas temperature in the flange is controlled as the gas is interlinked between flange is controlled as there is no need for the inspection and maintenance during operation. Meanwhile, the power station and the ambient temperature below -40℃. Besides meeting the requirements of GB/T 4109-2008,IEC 60137 Ed.6.0, MOD and relevant latest standards.

This product features the following obvious advantages:
       a. It is unnecessary to adopt special monitoring and maintenance for the products as they belong to the gas-free and pure-solid major insulation structure products;

       b. The partial discharge starting voltage has been improved greatly, to be free from partial discharge in operation, due to the large insulation design margin and semiconducting materials as the capacitor screen;

       c. Inflaming retarding insulating materials with stable electrical performance and without decomposition, without combustion and explosion hazard.

       d. Compact structure, small volume, light weight, convenient for transportation, may be installed at any angle;

       e. The products are especially suitable for the heavy earthquake regions for their reinforced fiberglass winding, optimized dynamic laying design, high bending strength and excellent mechanical performance;

       f. Perfect high and low temperature resistant performance, ranging from +135℃,to-200℃;

       g. The products with silicon rubber compound shell may be sued to the heavy polluted area for their excellent anti-fouling property;

       h. Long performance life and low longtime running cost;

       i. Products period is short; the products may be designed specially according to the user’s requirements.
