This project includes the development of several aerial transmission lines. In the province of Sao Paulo, Jiapu Cable will develop approximately 200 km of 230 kV AC transmission lines from the Braun Preto substation to the Rio de Janeiro substation. The work is part of the plan to transport renewable and clean energy from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and helping to improve the welfare of the environment on Brazil's Atlantic coast.
Henan Jiapu Cable Co., Ltd will guarantee the highest levels of safety and quality in every process. Around 150 jobs will be created during the construction period. The project is expected to last approximately two years.
